Beginning of 2023, Photanol was invited to share an update in “NPT procestechnologie”, a leading journal about process technology in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The interview came at the right time as we recently made several breakthrough process improvements. For example, we greatly sped up our inoculation train and managed to run it axenically by using a 25L Lgem | synalgae reactor. These learnings were projected on larger scale pilot reactors, which allowed us to reach record titers at pilot scale, repeatedly making kg product samples which were used for proof-of-principle DSP tests at Nobian.
